Full Moon Bike Ride - Hunter's Moon
Let’s ride, connect, and enjoy a beautiful night together!

Location: Meet at the Amenity Center
 
Join us for a magical evening ride around the Cascades community under the glow of the Hunter's moon! The name “Hunter’s Moon” hearkens back to the practices of the Algonquin people, who used full moon names to track the seasons and guide their hunting expeditions. In October, as the days grow shorter and colder, the moon’s radiant light served as a vital beacon for hunters and gatherers, aiding them in their nocturnal pursuits of sustenance.
 
What to bring: Bike & helmet, front/rear lights (for safety), water bottle, good vibes
 
All skill levels are welcome! Stay safe and visible! Always ride with a helmet and a full set of lights. We’ll keep a comfortable pace and make a few short stops to take in the view. Afterwards we can sit by the pool and enjoy conversation and drinks (BYOB).

November Walking Challenge
Get Your Walking Shoes Ready! Let’s Virtual Road Trip Down Route 66!
 
It’s time for our 3rd annual virtual walking challenge! This November, we are trading in our standard steps to take an epic fitness journey down the historic "Mother Road"—Route 66. Spanning 2,280 miles across 8 states from Chicago to Santa Monica, this is a massive distance, but we aren't doing it alone.
 
We will be working as a collective team, pooling our daily mileage together to hit our goal by the end of the month! Whether you walk around the block, run on a treadmill, or pace while on the phone, every single step counts. We will be using the StepUp app. Click here for information on how to get the app.

We are collecting food and personal care items to be donated to our local Blue Star Moms chapter. These items will be included in the monthly care boxes they prepare and send to our deployed troops. National Wreaths Across America Day

Cascades Annual Progressive Dinner
